Patient-reported outcomes in support of patient engagement in research (PROSPER)

This webinar is part of the COAG Optimizing Aging and Health: Methods and Application Series (Spring 2015)

Scott M. Hofer, PhD, University of Victoria

A major goal in much of aging-related medicine and research is to identify early changes in clinic baseline levels that may herald more serious health problems in the future, enabling more effective interventions. This presentation focuses on the utility of repeated PRO administration as a means for enabling the individual to establish their own reference standard and as a means to identify within-person change-points.
