Stage 7: Project closure

 

PopData projects

Data Access Unit staff at Population Data BC (PopData) must be informed when a research project is complete, and access to the data is no longer required.

PopData may initiate project closure when the project's Research Agreement can no longer be extended, or at the request of Data Stewards.

Data Access Unit staff will then provide the Researcher with project closure documentation which details the steps necessary complete the project closure and data archival procedures, as stipulated under the Research Agreement. Project data and files will be archived for 7 years before final data destruction.

HDPBC projects
