Research objective: 

This study is a cross-section design with a cumulative cohort that will examine mortality, morbidity and etiology of head trauma between the years 1991/1992 and 2001/2002.

Project Objectives:

1. To quantify and describe the incidence and mortality from traumatic head injury in British Columbia and to determine if rates have changed over time.
2. To examine health related risk factors for traumatic head injury.
3. To examine the health outcomes for seniors with traumatic head injury.
